The Forget-Me-Know flowers represent faithful love and memories. How fitting for the title of this devotion antique gift book: Forget Me Not: Scripture Texts. This book was compiled in the early 1900 by Rev. Hugo W. Hoffman.
There are 12 chromolithographics representing the months of the year. Each day has a biblical quote along with an inspirational quote, including a few blank pages for the month. The book was printed in Germany. The owner of the book has written life event on pages throughout the book. The owner, William M. Pagels, lived in Buffalo, NY.
The outside covers are in very good crisps condition. The book cover is green with forget-me-not flowers ties with a red ribbon. There are stains on the front and back of the book. The end pages are gold foil small white flowers. The binding is intact. There is no copy write page, but based on my research, this book may have been printed in 1900. I have included a few photos of the inscriptions by the author and a month chromolithographic page. The book pages do show aging signs, but very little foxing. An inspiring and religious book, a perfect gift. Thank you.
