Lad of Sunnybank by Albert Payson Terhune was a classic in the 1930. This first edition vintage book is in excellent condition. Mr. Terhune was a journalist, author and dog breeder of collies. This novel is one of many of his books.

The dust cover is in fair condition with tear areas on the front top and the spine. The book front and back cover is in excellent condition except a worn area on the bottom of the book. This area looks like paint? The inside end pages show a scene of dogs running. The front end page has the owner’s signature “Betsy Northrup”. The is a front piece drawing of Lad. The book pages are aged, but no foxing or any marking. This is a perfect book for anyone who loves collies. Thank You.
