In 1906, Henry Altemus Co. published Rose-Carnation Series of children stories. There are 10 books to this series. Each book is a half vellum with illuminated pictorial picture on the right side in gold and colors. An antique book, That Little French Baby by John Strange Winter is volume No. 7. This antique book consists of three children stories. This may be the beginning of collecting all 10 volumes.

This book is in excellent condition. The front and back covers are clean with signs of aged stains. There is no damage to the covers or the spine. The end pages are clean with few foxing. The front end page has an inscription as shown in the photo. The pages are glossy showing aged discolorations with black and white illustrations. There is no marking on any of the pages. A very clean book. Thank you.
