This vintage book, The Discoveries of John Poulter, alias Baxter by Ivan Volkoff, was privately published in 1962 by the Advertisers Composition Company. It was “…prepared as a Christmas Greeting from Management and Employees of…” in Lost Angeles, CA. From what I am able to gather, the book is about a person convicted of a series of crimes, gives tips on how to avoid being robbed and cheated.”

The book’s slip case is in good condition. It does show age stains and the bottom has a 2’ tear, but still intact to the case. The book cover and back is a striking green/grey marbled boards with grey spine and silver title. The book end pages and pages are in excellent condition. The book pages are a heavy stock beige paper. This book is copy number “850” of 1,000 printed. Thank you.
